As we take on the role of a validator, we process and validate transactions on the blockchain network, ensuring the proposed blocks are correctly formed and in line with the most recent blockchain protocol. Our compensation for this rigorous validation often comes in the form of consensus rewards from the blockchain protocol and transaction fees from its users.
